The Training Needs Assessment (TNA) Validation Workshop, held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta, was a key milestone in the "Strengthening Country Programme Development and Delivery" project, commissioned by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Organised and facilitated by MDF, the workshop gathered approximately 40 participants from various ministries, agencies, and organisations involved in ADB projects.
The event fostered rich discussions, knowledge sharing, and strategic planning to enhance the impact, sustainability, and effectiveness of ADB’s future training programmes. The workshop validated the TNA findings, aligning them with Indonesia's project management needs and identifying additional challenges. Participants collaborated to prioritise urgent training needs and develop strategies to improve the effectiveness of ADB’s training initiatives.
The TNA results will be instrumental in generating relevant training topics and identifying the most suitable training providers to deliver these sessions. It is anticipated that MDF will not only select the training providers but also support them as needed, by building their capacity to design and develop engaging, effective training delivery methods. This approach aims to ensure that participants can learn effectively and, more importantly, apply the knowledge gained in their work, leading to improved project outcomes and greater impact across ADB-financed initiatives.
